Leuzinger High School Athletic Facilities Improvements Project
In accordance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) regulations, an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) was prepared that describes the environmental impacts of the proposed Leuzinger High School Athletic Facilities Improvements Project (Project). The proposed Project would replace existing outdoor athletic facilities on the campus with new and improved facilities. The IS/MND was circulated for public review and comment for 30 days from April 9th to May 10th, 2021, as required by CEQA. A Final IS/MND has now been prepared that includes public comments received during the 30-day public review period and responses to those comments. The School Board of the District will consider adoption of the Final IS/MND and the CEQA required Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) and approval of the proposed Project at its meeting on May 25.
