NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CVUHSD STAFF REPORTS REGARDING PETITIONS FOR CHARTER SCHOOL RENEWAL

The Governing Board of Centinela Valley Union High School District will hold public hearings to receive public comment regarding the CVUHSD Staff Reports in response to renewal petitions submitted by Family First Charter School (FFCS) and New Opportunities Charter School (NOCS). The public hearings are held to obtain public input prior to the Governing Board taking action to approve or deny the renewal petitions. Members of the public will have an opportunity to address the Board regarding the CVUHSD Staff Reports. During the public hearings, petitioners shall have equal time and opportunity to present evidence and testimony to respond to the staff recommendations and findings, pursuant to Education Code 47605. The hearings are conducted pursuant to Education Code section 47605 and Board Policy 0420.42: Charter School Renewal.

The public hearings will take place as part of the Regular Governing Board Meeting on:
