Hawthorne High School of Manufacturing and Engineering (HHSME)

HHSME Robotics team wins Engineering Inspiration Award at the FIRST Robotics Los Angeles Regional Competition! This award is the second highest award given in this competition and it has taken the academy 8 years to receive. They were awarded by a Judge panel made up of CEO's, Engineers, Scientists and Educators from companies and universities in Los Angeles. Team 207 Metalcrafters then headed to St. Louis to compete in the FIRST Robotics World Championship where they took home 2ND PLACE...IN THE WORLD! Great job Metalcrafters, CVUHSD is truly proud!!!
