Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Lawndale HS Student Union Building

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Student Union Building at Lawndale HS was held on October 7th. Staff, students and community stakeholders all showed their support by attending the ceremony. The Lawndale HS Marching Band started off the ceremony followed by Cheer. Speakers included Dr. Paula Rodas, Principal, Dr. Gregory O'Brien, Superintendent, Board President Hugo Rojas, Vice-President Gloria Ramos, Clerk Rocio Pizano, and Member Daniel Urrutia. Local dignitaries were present and representatives from the County Board of Supervisors and Assemblymember Autumn Burke's offices presented Certificates of Recognition. Food was provided by the Culinary Careers Academy at Leuzinger HS.
