UCLA Volunteer Day at Centinela Valley

Lawndale HS students participated in UCLA Volunteer Day, a large community participation event for students that covers a wide range of community service projects across Los Angeles. A group of Bruins went to Lawndale HS Saturday School and encouraged students to attend college. Next, they went to Lloyde HS and helped complete a fence project for campus improvement. The event proved to be a great example of #theCVway, putting #StudentsFirst and improving campus safety, keeping it clean, being kind and learning something new. A big thank you to UCLA Bruins Give Back and to the CV students and staff who participated in UCLA Volunteer Day.
