Chicken Run hour of code how does a program your teacher says you guys are into it very awesome students around the world had an hour of code today Global movement can sweat it take to create the programs and apps they spend so much time using the largest education events in history recent end almost 15 million and nonprofit organizations new steps to support computer science in America schools you guys are already getting a head start on taking over the world been so excited about it play don't even have to be a computer science engineer maybe they want to do something else but Starworld this is going to be the basis for everything that we do semicolon when you're building a program have to think outside of the box you can change the world the land one hour of code can do it please help us get the hour of code to every school and every classroom and play Child hi my name is Alice and I work code.org today we're calling on students from all over the world to learn one hour of code we need your help to make it happen participating in the hour of code 1 hour computer science activities for all ages and is available in over 30 languages no previous experience is required and activities yourself empowering students to learn at their own pace 1 million hours of Computer Science Education and you can join the movement this December this matter because the number of open Computing job or going a lot faster students entering the field these are great job every young person have the opportunity to wear these foundational skills no matter what field they end up pursuing now talk about how to host an hour of code itself step one plan where you will do your hour of code you can offer the hour of code on any device tablet sees Max smartphones on the board not even about tutorial that can be completed without any computers at all unless options can be done anywhere even Outdoors I really illustrate the point the coffee tationil thinking is just about computers once you find where you'll be doing it it's time for Step 2 picking up we have over 20 different one hour tutorials to choose from introducing computer science for all students all Learners of any example there's a tutorial that teaches you how to create an interactive card using the programming environment either one from Khan Academy teaches the basics of JavaScript a popular programming language an art featuring character students love like Angry Bird Flappy Bird and Elsa from Frozen and more check out the option what is the best fit for your student go to step 3 coding it's time for your students to do the hour of code themselves have them visit co.org and choose the tutorial you picked out student to finish early to try different wraps Ward bass tutorials or help others if you're doing an unpleasant or pass out the materials and explain the that's it as you can see hosting our coach your students requires minimal prep and no prior experience
